Saving Your Work

Wicked great hint! Save EARLY, save OFTEN, and save BEFORE you run!
In order to be able to save your work as you progress, please save all of your files to your X: drive. Here is what I recommend:
- Create a folder in your X: drive called "VGD" for Video Game Design.
- Inside that folder, create subfolders for each project we work on. For example, CH2 for Chapter 2. All the resource files and .GMK files should be saved here.
Please remember that even though Game Maker can produce .EXE files for complete games, we cannot save those to school servers due to security protocols. Save your .EXE files to your Google Docs VGD shared folder instead.
